Brandweek's 2007 Superbrands report presents an industry analysis by the Brandweek staff of the top brands in 25 key categories based on 2006 sales, while also providing media expenditures and the brand's lead advertising agency. Consumer perceptions of the brands from Harris Interactive's EquiTrend study round out the package by ranking each trademark on perceived quality and awareness to calculate a brand equity score. The report also ranks America's top 2,000 brands by comparing full year media expenditures from 2005 to 2006.
