CSNews' 2007 Foodservice Study
Foodservice continues to prove its worth to c-store operators, in both sales and profits, according to the 2007 Convenience Store News Foodservice Study. Now an $18 billion segment for c-store operators, foodservice remains the second-largest in-store category (behind cigarettes). Prepared food, hot dispensed beverages and cold dispensed beverages combined to bring in average sales of $126,995 per store, an increase of 7.3 percent over 2005.
