Assess geographical marketing shares with ease. The DMA PDF Map displays Nielsen Media Research's 210 designated market areas (DMAs) and highlights the 56 metered markets. DMAs are used by Nielsen Media Research to identify TV stations that best reach an area and attract the most viewers. A DMA consists of all counties whose largest viewing share is given to stations of that same market area. Non-overlapping DMAs cover all of the continental United States, Hawaii and parts of Alaska.
